1.Introduction

Revotekk (“Revotekk”, “we”, “us”) is a software studio based in Vietnam. We build and operate commerce applications for the Shopify and Shopline platforms, and we operate this website.

This policy covers all of them: every app we publish, and your visit to revotekk.com. Individual apps may publish their own policy with app-specific detail — where they do, that policy adds to this one rather than replacing it, and the stricter commitment applies.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. By installing one of our apps or using this website, you agree to the practices described here.

2.How to contact us

For any question about this policy, or to exercise the data rights set out below, email contact@revotekk.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

3.What we collect

From merchants who install our apps

When you install one of our apps, we collect the following through the platform API (Shopify or Shopline):

  • Store identification — shop domain, store ID, currency, timezone and primary language — required to run the app.
  • Merchant-configured catalogue data such as products, collections, variants, vendors, tags, SKUs, metafields and shipping zones, used to evaluate the rules you configure.
  • Installed theme information, required where an app injects a storefront widget.
  • Aggregate storefront events — impressions, hovers, clicks, add-to-cart. These are anonymous and are not linked to individual buyers.
  • Buyer country, derived from the buyer’s IP address at page-render time where an app has geolocation rules. IP addresses are not stored.
  • Technical logs — application errors, request metadata and timestamps — used for debugging and abuse prevention.

Our apps do not collect or store buyer personally identifiable information: no names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses or payment details.

From visitors to this website

revotekk.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and loads no third-party fonts or trackers at runtime. Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested path and user agent — for security and diagnostics, and these are rotated on a short cycle.

If you email us, we hold that correspondence so we can answer you and keep a record of what was agreed.

4.How we use your data

We use the information above solely to:

  • Operate the features you have configured, such as computing and displaying delivery dates or applying age-verification rules.
  • Run the merchant dashboard, onboarding flow and rule editors.
  • Provide analytics back to you in aggregate form.
  • Troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse and maintain service quality.
  • Improve our apps based on anonymised usage patterns.
  • Respond to your support requests.

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.

5.Data storage and retention

Merchant configuration data is stored for as long as your account is active. Where an app uses checkout-stage features, order reference data is retained temporarily for reconciliation, with a maximum retention of 90 days.

If you uninstall an app, we delete its merchant configuration and anonymised event history within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records by law — for example for tax or fraud prevention.

Web server access logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostics, then discarded. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the matter it concerns.

6.Security

Data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted, logged, and limited to engineers with a legitimate operational need. We conduct regular security reviews and follow the platform requirements that apply to us as Shopify and Shopline app developers.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@revotekk.com.

7.Sub-processors

We use a small number of infrastructure sub-processors to run our apps and this website: cloud hosting, database and error-monitoring providers. All are bound by data-processing agreements and process data only on our instruction. A current list is available on request.

8.Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you and your store.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (the “right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to our processing.
  • Port your data to another provider in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw any consent you have given.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or a jurisdiction with similar laws, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@revotekk.com.

9.International transfers

Our infrastructure may process data outside your country of residence. Where we transfer data out of the EU or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms to protect your information.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email at the address associated with your store account.
